As a service to bereaved families, iWIN has set up a storeroom for the Muslim Burial Society of Harare. It consists of items that would be needed in a household at the time of a funeral, thus providing immediate support. Items included are, blankets, tables, chairs, crockery, cutlery, prayer books etc.
From 2016 - 2022, in partnership with Islamic Careline, Johannesburg, South Africa, iWIN ran a Compassionate Care counselling service. This service is expected to resume in the near future.
iWIN collaborated and assisted IMAZ during these camps in 2016 and 2019, where general checkups were offered by doctors, opticians, dentists and physiotherapists by organising the logistics to set up and run the camps.
iWIN collaborated and assisted IMAZ to facilitate these camps by arranging all the logistics for the 500 patients in 2015 and 2017).
Morning Teas are hosted regularly for the elderly, to facilitate a relaxing and comfortable environment for the ladies to socialise.
iWIN coordinates visits to the elderly and unwell members of the community.
iWIN facilitated 2 mass Nikkah ceremonies with the intention of encouraging Islamic etiquette among the Muslim communities in Hatcliffe Extension and Stapleford.
iWIN aims to provide a comfortable and safe home away from home for elderly women, widows, and those facing abuse who are struggling to cope with their day-to-day living. Especially as more young people migrate to other counties to seek a better living due to economic hardships in Zimbabwe.
A comfortable home away from home with suitable amenities that will ensure a healthy and safe lifestyle for women is envisaged.
